WHERE ARE YOUR TABLES MADE?
These tables are handmade here at our store/factory in Los Angeles.
HOW DO THEY DO OUTDOORS?
We make our tables to go indoors or out. With proper care they will last many years
outside. They are not frost resistant unless under a covered patio, however. Care should
be taken to move the table top to a sheltered place during the winter. They can also be
damaged under full sun in hot climates, so we highly recommend a shaded location
under these circumstances.
HOW DO I CLEAN AND CARE FOR MY TABLE?
Tables can be cleaned with dish washing detergent. Tree sap, hard water stains, etc., can
be removed using a "non-scratch" kitchen scouring pad or #0000 steel wool. Be sure
never to use any other grade of steel wool or abrasive cleansers.
If your table is going outdoors, it should be re-sealed twice a year. We use and
recommend 511 Impregnator Sealer by Miracle Sealants. You can clean the metal base
and our chairs with orange or lemon oil every few months to protect it. Rust spots or
scratches can be touched up with a can of flat black or satin Rust-Oleum. The links at
the bottom of this page will take you to Amazon's page for each.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
Our tables are made with either high-fired ceramic tile or stained glass. Both of these
materials are extremely durable. They will never fade or wear out. Both materials are
hand-made and will naturally have some imperfections and color variations.
The frames are powder-coated steel.
DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM SIZES?
If you're the patient type, we can make any custom size up to 48" round, or up to
43 x 92" rectangular. The turnaround for custom size tables is currently four to six
DO YOU MAKE TABLES IN DIFFERENT HEIGHTS?
All of our tables and bases separate. We make bases in coffee (17-19"), dining (29"),
kitchen (36"), and bar (42") heights for all our tables. We can also custom make a base
of any height in between.
HOW MUCH DO LARGER TABLES COST TO SHIP?
Larger tables that cannot be shipped Fedex are shipped white-glove freight. The cost
depends on where you live and the size/weight of the table and base. Email us for a
WHAT OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE FOR BASES?
For our round tables we use a pedestal base made of forged steel tube legs with standard
size nylon glides. For our rectangular tables we use 1 1/2" steel tube bases with nylon,
non-sctatch feet. Our prices include the top and base. For those of you who need to take
your tables inside during the winter, the top can be easily removed.
